The Happiness Movement

Portico New York tied up with celebrated cartoonist couple Ralph Lazar and Lisa Swerling, creators of the popular 'Happiness Is...' page on Facebook and created the 'Happiness Is...' line of bed & bath linen. Our objective was to create buzz around the launch of this collection and sustain interest and conversation over a period of months.

My Role:

I led this project and was supported by a team of 5, comprised of a Visual Designer, a Developer, and a PM. I was the sole individual responsible for UI/UX and I personally created the deliverables that you will see in this case study, excluding visual design.. I saw the project from the kickoff meeting to the launch, and through multiple rounds of iteration afterward.

Insight: When you surround yourself with happy things, you end up becoming happier.

One day prior to the reveal, we populated our page with 19 'Happiness Is...'

posts throughout the day acting as teasers. An update a day, featuring a particular product from the line, inviting people to engage with the post.
