In rural schools, many girls miss classes during their menstrual cycle due to a lack of hygiene awareness, sanitary napkins, and medical support. This absence disrupts their education, impacting learning and confidence. Addressing this issue is crucial to ensuring uninterrupted schooling and empowering young girls.

What was the problem we were trying to solve?
In many village schools, there is a noticeable drop in attendance among girls during their menstrual cycle. Due to the lack of proper menstrual hygiene awareness, access to sanitary napkins, and medical consultation, many girls miss school during their periods, leading to a loss of valuable learning days.
To address this issue, we decided to collaborate with village schools and design an app specifically for schoolgirls facing this challenge. The app will:
✔ Track and record menstrual cycles to help girls stay informed.
✔ Provide sanitary napkin assistance to ensure hygiene.
✔ Offer medical consultation with doctors for guidance and support.
✔ Monitor attendance and leave patterns to understand the impact of periods on schooling.
By implementing this solution, we aim to eliminate absenteeism caused by menstruation and ensure that girls can continue their education without interruption.
